From the Recorder: February 14, 1946

In today's Valentine's Day edition of the Ralston Recorder from February 14, 1946, the Recorder admonishes Ralston's residents for the low turnout at the previous week's caucus. Also in the paper, the Board of Trustees meeting minutes for January 26 (special session) noted the meeting lasted from 8 pm until 12:15 am. The purpose was to review the bids for a new well, pump, and pump house. A bid for $5,522 ($91,167 in 2025) for the well and pump was accepted. All bids for the pump house were rejected.
