From the Recorder: March 16, 1944

Today's article from the March 16, 1944, Ralston Recorder is a rather confusing tale about a court case revolving around ownership of property being stored at the club house and bath house. The plaintiff was Raymond Hansen, the defendant the Village of Ralston, and also in the mix was Judge Henry J. Beal. The Village of Ralston lost the case, with damages set at $5,166.66 ($90,539 in 2024). Hansen had been asking for $13,000 ($227,808 in 2024).
