Did you know there is a federal program that provides assistance in paying for broadband service for qualifying low-income households? Called the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and part of the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the program provides a $30 discount on broadband service (along with other possible benefits) through participating providers. Both of Ralston’s broadband providers, Cox and CenturyLink, are participating providers.
You are likely eligible if your household’s income is below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line, or if you or someone you live with currently receives a government benefit like SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, WIC, Pell Grant, or Free and Reduced-Price Lunch.
