*** Rescheduled *** “Ralston Arena” Letters from Arena Marquee to be Recycled into Public Art Sculpture

New Liberty First Credit Union Arena sign to be installed Thursday

The letters above the former Ralston Arena’s marquee (see picture below) will be “recycled” into a public art sculpture at Ralston’s entryway at 72^nd and Main Streets.

A press conference inviting artists to submit their proposals for the “Recycled Letters” public art sculpture competition will be held on Thursday, August 18^th Tuesday, August 23 at 10 AM at the Ralston business Out of the Box, 7401 Main Street.

The Ralston Arena was renamed the Liberty First Credit Union Arena as part of a sponsorship agreement that began January 1^st, 2022.

The new Liberty First Credit Union Arena sign over the Arena’s main entrance is scheduled to be installed on Thursday, giving media an opportunity for photographs and film.
